still processing is a study in synthesis and explores the mixture of styles, processing the main theme through a series of filters, both musical and emotional. Through acoustically recreating electronic music sounds and combining contemporary classical music with rock influences, I aim to demonstrate both the clashing and the harmony between my musical influences as well as my psyche as I navigate the different sides of my being. After processing the theme through several of these filters, the fragmented remains are meant to represent the vulnerability of the art of composition and my determination to maintain my own inner music.
